Bella Marie is the sweetest dog. She is a love bug and she just glows with happiness
when you pet her and give her any bit of attention.

True to her breed, she is a very loyal, loving girl who gave her owner everything she had in her to give. She was bred and gave her owner litter after litter of puppies. Through the years her body wore out and she began to grow Cherry Eye. She needed medical care but her owner wasn’t going to spend a dime on her. When her body was all used up and she was no longer a good breeder, they got rid of her.
Bella Marie is in good hands now and she will get the care she needs to make her healthy again and ready for adoption. Bella Marie will need surgery to remove the Cherry Eye and while she’s under anesthesia we will go ahead and get her spayed. She won’t ever have to make another baby. While she’s at the vet we will also have her vaccinated, dewormed and heartworm tested.
Last month you were kind and helped us vet Turtle. Turtle will be home soon. I’ll send you photos then to show you how beautiful she looks now. This month we need your help again, for Bella Marie. The surgery for her spay and Cherry Eye normally costs around $800. But we have found a vet that is rescue friendly and who will do the same thing for a considerable savings - approximately $350 – $400. It depends on how long she needs to stay at the vet for healing time.
