Hi my name is Trudy and I’m looking for a new foster home. I am a good girl but my current foster mom is tired of fostering and I have to go. Of course, it would be much better if I would get really lucky and were to find that forever family I so crave. I would love to be your walking or hiking partner. I am seriously smart and perhaps I might do well in agility training. Being that I’m a lab mix I have beautiful webbed toes almost to the tippy toes, so I think I might like to swim if you teach me. I don’t have a chance to try at my foster home so I can’t promise you that though. After all that exercise I love nothing better than to nap at your feet though I would prefer to nap in your lap. I am a lovely girl looking for a lovely person to spend my life with. Please read more about me here (http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/24125186) and contact Silver Rescue for an application.

Pixie was rescued from the side of the road hungry, in pain, and urinating blood. A course of antibiotics offered no relief and she continued to eliminate painfully anywhere and everywhere. Her Good Samaritan asked Silver Rescue for help when she had no more money for Pixie’s medical care. We had no money either but with trust in the compassion and generosity of our supporters, we said yes. Despite empty pockets, we ordered x-rays, which shockingly revealed a stone 1 ¼” long, ¾” wide and ½ “ thick - nearly the same size as her small bladder. She could never have passed it on her own and would have died in terrible pain but for the kindness of a Good Samaritan who refused to close her eyes to a little dog’s suffering. Immediate surgery remedied the problem and Pixie is recuperating well. She is not only a cute, spunky girl but also very lucky! Her bill came to $614.95. Can you help us once again?
